Description
This is a work in progress which I'd intended to finish a long time ago for prolific writer and DA member AstralsLibrary [link] (her stock photography is here: [link] )
The intention I think would be to publish a finished product on Lulu . com .
The pictures are drawn with fine line pen on paper (the exception being some rough pencil sketches) - colour is added in the many-crashes-a-day Paint Shop Pro 8. It is far from complete so please use your imagination to fill in the gaps.
Edit: Having some trouble uploading a preview file - any tips?

The story goes as follows:
The Nightmare Solution (by Jenni Mills)
From: [link]
Page 1
It wasn’t even day light when Annalese sat up in
bed.
She’d had another nightmare.
Page 2
She was sick of them!
Every night the monsters chased her through her
sleep, around her head and into the morning.
Page 3
She was going to do something about it!
And Anna thought she knew just what to do.
She found paper and textas and got right to work.
Page 4
Anna drew the monster with the tentacles first.
He was the biggest.
She had fun colouring all the blue and red
stripes on all those tentacles.
Page 5
Next was the spider like monster. He was all
black and Anna nearly used up all her black
texta.
Page 6
The blobby blue monster was no problem. He was
just eyes and lots of purple spots.
Page 7
Lastly she drew the little yellow furry critter.
Anna might have liked her if it wasn’t for her
big teeth.
Page 8
Anna found a paper bag and string in the kitchen.
And then she skipped outside to find the perfect
tree.
Page 9
The branch was almost too high. But luckily Anna
was a good climber.
Page 10
She hung the bag from the tree and then whacked
it with all her might.
Whack! For the tentacle monster.
A Whack! For the spider like monster.
Another whack! For the blobby monster.
And a not so hard whack! For the little yellow
furry one.
Page 11
That night Annalese put the paper bag under her
pillow before she went to sleep, thinking she
wouldn’t see any monsters tonight.
Page 12
But there they were in her dreams!
They didn’t chase her.
They just looked black and blue with bruises and
hid behind their hands.
“You’re not going to whack us again are you?”
said the monster with the tentacles.
Page 13
Anna was shocked.
She had always been scared of the monsters. And
now they weren’t so scary.
“You always chase me. So I whacked you to make
you go away,” she said.
Page 14
“We were just playing chaseys,” whimpered the
blue blobby monster.
And Annalese felt sorry for all the monsters.
Page 15
Anna crept up to the furry little yellow monster.
It’s teeth weren’t so big after all.
“Tip! You’re in” she cried and ran away to the
edge of her dream.
Page 16
Then they chased one another all through the
night, around Anna’s head and into morning.
