Illustration for an RPG product released by Escape Velocity Gaming.

Fine line pen, colour added in GIMP.

(I'm calling this "old school" art which covers me for a multitude of sins ;) )

The wicker moth is available in my newest book for 4e D&D entitled "Malicious Moths". It is a magical construct which holds a vial of poison. Assassins familiar with the ancient techniques of using these creatures send them off to deliver their deadly contents. I think my good friend Billiam has done an outstanding job capturing the wicker moth and it is now my duty to get him to do some cover art for my next project!

This is Mr. Pfaff author of Malicious Moths and enormous Billiam art fan. The wicker moth is itself a construct that is used by those who employ ancient assassin traditions. You simply fill it with poison via its central vial. And then send it off to hide among the wares of the bazaar waiting for its victim. This moth and five others are fully detailed for the Fourth Edition of D&D in my pdf available at rpgnow.com! I think Billiam captured the Wicker Moth perfectly, now it's up to me to convince him to a little cover art work for my next project!

I love it, the details of the wicker and the way it looks like you could ride along in the tail as a boat!

The perspective is a bit all over the place but I feel I got the lid just about right, and yup, I guess I know I can draw wicker boats now. :)
Thanks.

The author tells me that it hides amongst the baskets in Eastern Bazaars and then assassinates a magically preprogrammed target.
Cool, eh? :)
