We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. I don't even know how to import a picture into a post/note on deviant art.
(don't even know how to edit comments ...)
Any tips for an almost newbie?
On forums I treat the emoticons like pictures (usually "[ IMG ] url [ / IMG ]" tags ) in other places I use basic HTML ( "< img src="url" > etc" )
I stick loads of graphics into photobucket.com accounts and and import them there (partly because my service providers are very tight with freebie webspace)
The love-devour icon doesn't seem to work on MSN either ... looking into that one ... grrr
